An independent guide to licensed online gambling in the UK

What we do

We publish detailed reviews of online casinos holding an active licence issued by the Gambling Commission, the statutory regulator for gambling in Great Britain under the Gambling Act 2005.

Every review states the licence holder and the Gambling Commission account number, with a direct link to the regulator’s public register, so any reader can independently confirm the information.

What we do not do

We are not a gambling operator. We do not accept bets, process deposits, manage player accounts or pay out prizes.

We do not list, promote or favourably mention operators without an active Gambling Commission licence. We do not target anyone under 18, nor anyone who has self-excluded through GAMSTOP or directly with an operator.

How we are funded

The site is funded through affiliate marketing. When a reader opens an account through one of our links, the operator may pay us a commission. The reader pays nothing for this, and the terms offered are exactly the same.

This compensation does not influence scores, rankings or review content. We do not accept payment to change a rating, remove a criticism or move an operator up a list. The full explanation is on our Disclosure page.

Our editorial team

The team brings together writers specialising in regulated gambling and a compliance reviewer responsible for checking every licence reference against the Gambling Commission register. All content is reviewed before publication.

Our contributors are prohibited from holding individual commercial relationships with operators they write about.

Corrections and transparency

If you spot an inaccuracy, write to editorial@lusopeak.com. We check every message and, when we confirm an error, we correct it and mark the date of the change on the affected page.

Reviews are revisited at least quarterly, and immediately whenever an operator’s licensing status changes on the Gambling Commission register.

Our safer gambling commitment

Every page on this site carries the 18+ notice and links to support services. We do not use language suggesting that gambling is a financial solution, that presents winnings as likely or guaranteed, or that pressures readers into acting immediately, in line with the UK advertising codes (CAP and BCAP).

We support and publicise GAMSTOP, the National Gambling Helpline, GamCare, GambleAware and Gamblers Anonymous, all of which are linked in our footer.
